WHAT IS EXPECTED
- Students are expected to work independently with guidance on completing a portfolio. You must be independently motivated and work!
Materials depend on what you are doing? Sketchbook for ideas.
A portfolio consists of 5-Quality Pieces, 12-Concentration Pieces, 12-Breathe Pieces.
All work must be photographed and uploaded to the AP website by the end of April.
Important Dates
24 pieces should be uploaded and labeled on the AP website by 4/27
The Commentary should be done by 4/27 and saved to the AP website by 4/27
Before 3/31 you will need to have a one on one talk with Mr. Miller about your portfolio
(Must fill our the breadth and concentration checklist sheets--bring them when you meet with Miller)
Peer Critique 4/13
Quality Pieces must be done by 5/5 t 10:00
We only have 5 weeks so we have to buckle down seniors
Grades will be put in when assignments are completed
The dates are the last day you can turn in an assignment--you are allow and encourage to turn in assignments early we assess and adapt if need be
12 AP worthy AP pieces should be finished before Winter Break (these pieces will be graded holistically, using the rubric the students created)
(Just because you have more than 12 AP pieces done before Winter Break doesn't mean you are done with work for that semester. Students should work on a piece of art each class period to get their daily work grade (10 pts. per class period/ around 230 pts. per nine weeks give or take a nine weeks)
